The ‘Good Stuff’ started when founder Becky Mickletz had a Blue Heeler rescue pup with a ton of digestive issues within his first year of life. Woof, right? With the help of a small dog food company in Colorado, she quickly realized that the food the doctor recommended was full of BS! Instead of giving her dog the nutrition he needed, it contained fillers like corn, wheat, meat and grain meals and by-products that may have kept him “full” but at the end of the day was just another form of animal feed that was doing more harm than good. Becky realized that not only did the doctor recommended food not help, but the store bought treats seemed to make him just as sick. She took matters into her own hands and started making homemade dog treats so that she knew exactly what was going into her pup’s tummy. Once she started baking with truly natural, organic ingredients the issues drastically subsided and her holistic recipes started helping friend’s dogs too!
